Enjoyable
The balcony was a real bonus for the room. Bathroom was fantastic Bed comfy..... Quiet area.... 10 mins walk to city centre
Huge room, huge bathroom, large private garden on ground floor. Multilingual & friendly staff. Easy on street parking right outside hotel in a nice safe area. (Embassies dotted everywhere due to proximity to EU Parliament.) 15min walk into city centre. 2min walk to park, which also has a couple of bars & a restaurant.
Nothing.
We had a great time staying here for two nights. The room was really nice. The bed was exceptionally comfy as were the sheets, and the lighting in the room was really neat allowing you to tailor the amount and type of light to your liking. There was also a Nespresso machine in our room and the coffee pods were complimentary, which was just about the best thing ever in my book.
It was a little bit far from downtown/oldtown Strasbourg. We obviously had the address before we booked it and saw that it was about a 25-minute walk into town. However, we figured we'd just hop on a bus on a nearby street but it turns out you have to walk 10-12 minutes to get to the nearest bus stop so we were kind of caught between the two, not sure whether to take the bus or walk. The pool was nice and warm but there were a lot of mosquitos around the pool deck area, so sunbathing was out of the question.
