what a beautiful old hotel, ideal location and lovely pool and gardens

just a warning, there are mosquitoes in the area so pack some repellent

Friendly staff in restaurant and at the bar , helpful chamber service, nice garden , atmosphere for breakfast super - for dinner to bright lights and a little frosty.

Early check in was no problem. Desk staff very friendly. The location right on the seafront was great.

The big hotel was dated and very eccentrically decorated in poor taste. Breakfast was mediocre. It clearly caters to large tours.

The garden of the hotel with the swimming pool is spacious and beautiful; and the location of the hotel is perfect.

The service, the rooms and breakfast buffet are a bit outdated: You have to ask for everything extra (skimmed milk, oat milk, gluten free alternatives. No kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. The air condition in the room made a terrible noise, so we could not use it. Mostly old sockets in the room, and difficult to borrow adaptors. The shower cabin had walls where water easily went out and on the floor.

History, location and comfort. Lovely bedding and comfortable mattress. The building is full of history and fabulous authentic reception area.

The waiters in the restaurant were not very welcoming . Restaurant didn’t match the rest of the hotel. It was sterile looking with stark white lighting.

Thin walls in hotel rooms so other guests rather noisy

Classic Italian. Great pool & location, staff were great.

Didn’t advise us pool towels were available & electric sockets were 3pin not the normal 2pin so a shortage of plugs. We were staying as a large party for a wedding & no irons at all were available to borrow or hire.
