The interior of the building os good

First, Air condition isn't working, second is the gym equipment, it's different from the website shown online. The pull up bar is to close to the ceiling. There are no weights or dumbells, Just the cable machine and cardio equipment. No iron for clothes and kettle in the room but you can ask for it. The good side is the breakfast is good. Can't complain with it. Theres a lot of restaurant outside the area.

Location is good, but loud and lots of road works.

The air conditioning is ineffective. The hotel is dirty. The customer service is terrible. The toilet leaked in one of our rooms and they moved us twice and we ended up in a cheaper room with no appolgy or compensation. All the guests we met said the place we run down, dirty and the rooms are hot and tatty. The hotel is in a good location so they dont have to try to get customers and it shows. The manager was a coward and hid and let the reception staff deal with all the problems. The place is in a poort state of repair. The are only 3 lifts and 1 wasnt working. They send a technician when you say the air con is not working and he pretents to fix it, knowing full well it just doesn't work. It wasn't even that hot when we were there (low 20 degress). They didn't services our room and we ran out of loo roll. The road noise is loud and there were road works all night. The pool is tiny, the gym has hardly anything in it, and it was half broken. The place is a complete rip off.

The rooms are very comfortable yet they are a little dated.

Location us very near ti the river and quite central. Hotel has a lot to offer including swimming pool and atm. very comfortable shower, beds

Location! Customer Service! Facilities! The Maritim Hotel Köln was fantastic! The location couldn’t be better—right in the centre, close to all major attractions, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful; they quickly changed our room when we were given twin beds instead of a double. Great service and an unbeatable location made our stay wonderful!

Nothing really, probably just the lifts. they were always so busy and they were also slow.
