Selina Puerto Escondido

Selina has a lot of cool facilities: beach right in front, 2 pools, a movie room, caf and and a yoga space. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our stay a lot.

We would have loved a space to dry clothes somewhere near the room and access to the main road with the collectivos is a bit tiresome if you are not wanting to taking a taxi.

+ Location (for those who want to surf Zicatela) + Viewpoint (able to check the waves before going out

- Very expensive for the value it offers (paid less in other places in the area for better apartments with breakfast included) - Room design and size (stayed in a small private room)

The only thing that I like about this place was that is close to the beach and some of the Restaurants.

First of all. I would say that the room we got it was too far all the way up. And they only had stairs. So you can imagined take all your luggage. 2nd as soon we got to our room the mirror of the bathroom was broken 3rd the Water was salty to take a shower and brush your teeth it taste nasty. I can believe how I did it the whole week. The staff members really didnt care about the people. I was expecting a lot more. The room was too small and the shower look nasty SO sorry that what they show on their website doesnt look the same on real life.

The location was great

My room was at the very top, the view was great but there should be a disclaimer that if youre not able to hike 10 minutes up hill maybe the private rooms are not for you. There were sooooo many bugs in my room and the AC was not optimal.
