Hotel Dom Carlos Liberty

- Breakfast very good, relatively basic however decent & fresh food. Composed of: Hams, Cheeses, Variety of Fresh Bread, fresh fruit, flavoured yogurt, selection of cereals, milk incl. Lactose-free, sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, basic cakes & sweet local pastries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices. - Payment could be made at the hotel, even 50% check in, 50% at check-out which is perfect, strangely enough this is becoming rarer in many hotels. - Clean - Everything working as it should, nothing damaged. - Good upkeep.

- Breakfast area only accessible via stairs (fine by us, others might not find it Ok) - It's impossible for one waiter to top-up all items whilst preparing tables, cleaning-up & dealing with customers - can definitely be improved. That said, they all took up the challenge and showed dedication & effort. - Corridor gives a bad impression, smelly at times. - Space very very limited - lobby, room, breakfast layout. - Bottle of water not complimentary - charged 2.50 ! - Noisy door locks

Sightseeing yellow bus stop just right outside the hotel, 3 blocks away from Masques de Pombal Metro Station, very nice safe area, breakfast included.

Laundry is based on each piece A trouser is 10 1st bottle water is free, but the 2nd bottle will charge you.

Clean, staff is very friendly. Close to great restaurants and shopping

Breakfast, although very good wasn't replenished very quickly, so many items were unavailable for quite a while.

Location was very central near Metro and local cafes. Staff like Diana were extremely helpful. Good breakfast and good hours. 24hr staff.

Rooms need some drawers/storage for longer stay customers. Some staff less customer oriented than last year. Rates much higher and on 1st stay given double bed rather than twins requested months before so did not sleep well. Second stay got twins because I demanded.
