The location is just perfect. Room was nice and comfortable
For this category of hotel, we would expect a glass bottle of water inside the room (there was nothing). We would also have appreciated breakfast included (compared rate and hotel quality). There are many nice hotels providing bkfast. It would have been areal +
Exceptional service, beautiful building and suite. All facilities, such as swimming pool, sauna and hot tube were working, towels and all needed were provided. Absolutely lovely tea ceremony, we spend an hour and half with drinking excellent tea with sandwiches and deserts. Staff was so kind and helpful, especially Cheryl.
I can't remember anything we don't like actually.
The Gold floor
very friendly staff (with one exception) Concierge made afternoon tea possible - a special experience very nice pool, sauna, and fitness area, amazing location
From the moment we walked in we realized this was a pretty special place. The doorman greeted us and took care of our bags and guided us where to check in. We went to the 1st floor check in and met Michael who checked us in. Our room wasn't ready yet , but was assured we would get a text notifying us. When we came back we were greeted by a young lady who's name alludes me. She gave us a mini tour of all the amenities the gold status awarded us. She was very thorough and kind. All in all we had an amazing three days at the Fairmont Empress. One more thing to take notice of was the shorter gentleman at the entrance, the doorman guided us to our destination everyday..he was so helpful.
I have to say that there was one thing I didn't like.
