Mondrian South Beach

Location, layout, waterfront pool. Definitely a younger adult party crowd at the pool on a Saturday afternoon. Food and drinks were very good, waitresses and pool attendants accessible and helpful. Hotel served its purpose of a night before cruise stay.

Nothing - all was enjoyable. Room was perhaps a bit dated but it still had a good vibe to it.

The location and the size of the room.

The room needs more features for accessible visitors. The bathroom needs a grab bar because the floor can be slippery when showering. Even if you are not disabled, you can slip and fall in the bathroom, adding a grab bar would be ideal. Also, the from desk staff is not friendly. They always had a face from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. No smiles or sense of welcoming. Every other staff from the restaurant to the valet parking and housekeeping were nice.

No microwave but a stove also the tvs being outdated to connect Bluetooth from phone and beds way too low.

Locality was great

The carpet in the room was dirty and our feet turned black after going shoeless

The pool was really nice. The hotel was quiet and the bed comfortable.

The rooms were dated and the furniture very sparse. The bathroom was ok but lacked space to put toileteries and towels close to the shower. The lighting switches were awkwardly placed and there was almost no USB plug point which are a must nowadays. Whilst the pool complex was good and food very nice, there was almost no place to sit - as all was reserved….So had to put all our belongings on the floor to enjoy the facilities with 2 young kids.
