Location was great. Right in the middle of waikiki. Not a beachfront hotel though
The hotel was more expensive for what it is. The room descriptions are wildly misleading/overstated. They dare to call a room with a tiny view of the water, between other tall hotels, at the far end of the hotel as “partial ocean view”. Very scammy. That was the room that was given to our friends. Our room was supposedly ocean view. At best was what a partial ocean view should be. There was a 20 degree angle of the beach visible, on the side of the building and the rest of the 250 degrees of view was of buildings. Also, the hotel’s industrial sized ACs were just under our room and they were very noisy. We have to request to change rooms because it was unacceptable and in combination with the view it was ruining our stay. To the hotel’s credit they did switch us rooms the next day but at no point they were apologetic or did anything to compensate for the terrible first day. The attached pictures are of the partial ocean view and the ocean view rooms The parking was only valet and it was one of the more expensive rates in the city compared to other hotels. Other hotels let you park yourself which saves a 30% in parking fees. It wasn’t enough that the rate was high they were also charging taxes for parking
