Sky Hotel Apartments Stockholm

The staff at the restaurant on the ground floor were great, happy to help and pleasant. They don’t work for the apartments just get stuck with answering queries because there’s nobody from the apartments there to help! Good location for me as I could walk to a beach to swim but it is not central and there are no places to eat or drink or find entertainment close by. The underground is just a ten minute walk away though to get into somewhere more central.

The beds are attached to two walls and I’m 5 foot 4 and kept kicking the wall at the bottom of the bed. For the rest of my family who are all taller than 6 feet, sleeping on the beds was impossible. The apartment describes one room as having ‘a twin bed’ which I thought meant a pair, twin beds, but no it is one tiny bed. The temperature of the apartment was a nightmare, no windows that open without getting handles (but no staff around to sort) and no air conditioning. The centrally controlled temperature was unbearable whilst Stockholm was experiencing warm weather. I tried to get help but when I finally met someone who worked there she wouldn’t come and help me because it ‘wasn’t her area of expertise’. This was not a pleasant stay for a family. We left and checked into a hotel as we couldn’t cope for more than two nights of zero sleep at all.

The apartment was very cozy. It’s nicer than the pictures. The kitchen worked great. Big refrigerator.. It’s extremely quiet and family neighborhood.. There is big supermarket 5 min walk..

Location was little bit far from downtown..Also the cleaning lady, didn’t clean much expect for changing the bedsheets.. Very disappointed. Overall I loved the place..

The flat had a great layout and stylish decor, and was fully equipped (aside from the AC/fan and the missing detachable window handles). The building is modern with easy, seamless digital check-in and check-out. It’s in a nice neighbourhood, slightly far from city centre but conveniently close to the metro/bus + rental bikes&scooters. The restaurant downstairs is a convenient addition for breakfast (and other meals - we only used it for breakfast one morning)z We appreciated that it had big windows, compared to many hotel room options were the basic room did not have one! Great blackout curtains for blocking the light (but sadly also blocking air coming from the open windows). Overall, great value for money and ideal for a couple.

The evening we arrived, we realised (unfortunately after reception was closed - our fault) that 4 out of 5 windows couldn’t be opened due to the detachable handles being removed (both from the window and from the room). The only openable one was right above the bed pillows, which felt unsafe at night. On top of this, 2 of the windows were tiny so at least does could’ve had the handles left in. After we emailed, we were told we could pick up a handle the next day, which worked, but it would’ve been more convenient to have it in the room :) We feel like this couldn’t be for safety reasons because the largest window in the room was the one that did have a handle… The AC unit cooling function didn’t work, which was really unfortunate timing during the heatwave we got lucky to overlap with. We reported it, and at first maintenance was meant to check on it, but we got told their shift ran out of time before checking and got told no one was there over the weekend, so we belive no one was available to check it before our departure (thursday-tuesday). We totally understand that maybe Stockholm hasn’t historically been a place that needed AC units, but with rising temperatures, even a plug-in fan would make a big big difference during the summer.

Spacious apartment, close to public transport and the water. Ica supermarket super close as well. Everything was very clean and the kitchen well equipped with a big fridge.

There was not much we didn't like. Unfortunately you couldn't open the windows which would have been nice. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious. Enjoyed the fact that the window could open once a handle was assigned. It is conveniently located, close to supermarket and shops, and waterfront park.

The app for booking the washing machine was extremely challenging. Took myself and a staff member 20 minutes to work out how to activate my washing. Spending long periods in the laundry room wrestling with app is not ideal when on holiday. I would also appreciate more information about, for instance, the locking of doors (the fact that they do not lock for 1 minute after closing), the accessibility of window handles, the way of booking the laundry.

Nice new apartments, very convenient system of check in and entering the rooms . Nice location near 2 underground stations

We have stayed for 9 nights and no cleaning was done while it was said that it should be provided once per week . The stove/oven was switched off automatically after 15 min , you should turn on the switcher again and turn on all the electric kitchen appliances, it was very annoying to cook like that
