The bathroom fan did not have an off switch? The bed was a little soft for such a thin mattress? These honestly were the only issues. Staff very helpful
The staff at Hotel Victoria were amazing, courteous, and very helpful! Thank you!
Large comfortable room, had a mini fridge. Easy to walk to locations of interest- museums, city sites, restaurants, close to train station
Some might find the slanting roofline over the bathtub/shower an issue- really not too bad
The room was great for me, my husband, and our 18yr old son for 1 night. Convenient location near main train station, affordable, well-loved but clean. Courteous staff allowed us to check-in early. Great coffee shop next door!
The surrounding area feels a bit unsafe, but that is typical in big cities near man train stations.
Clean
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and l had three excellent nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was also very lovely. There was plenty to eat, and the staff greeted you with a smile.
They promote themselves as a premium hotel, but the room was not quite as clean as it should have been. For it to be premium, it would need to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room as well as a mini fridge with some basic items for purchase. The neighbourhood was a bit scary for a solo female traveller.
