Loved our stay, beautiful rooms, nice pool - heated and used in the end of October. Free bike rental.
A bit far from PS’s downtown but no issue when biking
Nothing circus circus but colorful
Dirty and it smelled. Doors don't lock completely.
We liked their pool, it was pretty solid, and their restaurant and bar were excellent. We also saw that there was a drag show happening one of the days we were there. We hadn't seen it advertised on their site and if we had known about it we definitely would have planned to go to it.
The front desk staff was kind of useless, we reserved a cabana and instead of figuring out details the day of, they just sent us to the restaurant, who had no idea what we were talking about. The front desk then tried to send us back to the restaurant again since it wasn't their responsibility... we ended up having to talk to a few different people in the restaurant and cleared it up, however, if we were paying for a cabana I would expect the front desk to get the details sorted instead of passing the buck. They also have room service menus in your room that you in theory can use to order breakfast room service. You just fill out what you want and leave on your door in the evening. We tried it out and breakfast never came. When finally speaking to the front desk they claimed security must have taken it from our door and never turned it in. Once again it wasn't the front desk's issue it was someone else's fault. Honestly, aside from the pool, restaurant, and bar I'd probably advise not staying here. Their hotel staff seemed kind of dysfunctional. The room itself had an ok view, however, we also had some paint chipping that I notice in our room. It was a place to stay but if anything i'd probably recommend staying somewhere else if looking for fun pool vibes then maybe just get a day pass or just walk in because the hotel staff was shocked when we came up to them and told them someone was sleeping in our cabana when we went to use... again not their fault...
