This is a lovely hotel, right by the harbour in Victoria. The room was spacious, and very comfortable with really soft sheets. It had a fridge, a good shower and a lockbox. It has a decent sized pool and hot tub.
There was nothing wrong with my stay.
Easy check-in; fast elevators; comfortable room; fast response for housekeeping and maintenance requests.
This Marriott is not on Inner Harbor; it's near inner harbor. There's another Marriott that's actually on the water. This hotel is also directly adjacent to a very active and large construction site.
Location is great and rooms are spacious and well equipped with all you need. I also liked how spacious the lobby is.
The rooms are ok decorated, they could be better. Floors feel old and I think they should at least add some rugs under the beds to make the rooms more comfortable and cozy.
Great location, clean room, nice facilities and lobby convenience
The cleaners are LOUD and chat in the hallway right outside our door at 7am which woke us up
I was disappointed to find out with the price we paid that there wasn’t even a continental breakfast. Parking was 32.00 extra. Didn’t expect that either.
No breakfast and had to pay for parking. Also the description leads to to believe you are actually in the inner harbour but you don’t even see it.
Treated well by all staff, valet was unexpected but super helpful.
View was of the roof.
For the money, as European we would expect a more 'refurbished' hotel / look
Everything was great - our only concern was a/c blowing on us directly all night - we felt like we weren’t sleeping and so because of this we felt terrible and sleep deprived instead of having a good sleep. It wasn’t until we got to our next hotel in Vancouver the Sutton that we finally realized how much it took out of us and then tried to make it up - but it honestly sucked us right out to the point we thought maybe we were getting a cold but once we got away found we were coming back - stayed 3 nights at Marriott
