This place sucks
Horrible overall experience. To begin our journey, I paid for a resort view, if you are going to a resort and the view is important, verify what you’re booking. Resort view is the equivalent to the parking lot/trash can/compressor view. The only thing resort about my view was the maintenance necessities of the resort. If balcony and view isn’t important, maybe health is? 5th floor east side has a mold issue on top of water dripping into the rooms from the roof leaks. We were traveling with 11 and out of 3 rooms, we all woke up with coughs, headaches, drainage and swollen eyes. We could go to the pool and feel better but as soon as we were back on the east wing, our headaches resumed. Thankfully, we were able to move rooms where our ac and hot water didn’t work. After 2 hours standing at the front desk, multiple phone calls from our room, our ac worked for 1 night only to be slightly mediocre the remainder of our stay. We had to run the hot water for more than an hour to get it semi warm. Besides our room debacle, I received free breakfast with my reservations. Free breakfast is not a buffet or sit down experience, it is a breakfast bagel, coffee or parfait at the provisions on site gas station, essentials store. It was awful. The resort itself is pretty, security is pathetic. One evening while sitting on the balcony a car drove through the sidewalk area between the resort and the pool…. Children walking, no security. The overall security was ridiculous, we could come and go through the entire resort without any credentials, whatsoever. There was an exterior door that entered into the hallway of the rooms directly in front of our room, no keypad requirement, nothing. Anyone could open it and walk in at all hours of the day. I can go to best western and have more security on one door than they had in the entire resort area. To top things off, the fire alarm blared at 630 Mother’s Day morning….. for 30 minutes. Once it stopped, we all returned to our rooms.

Great facilities, a lovely spacious, colourful and clean lobby. Great big pool area with plenty of beds. Great location off the 192, 100’s of restaurants in easy reach. Sunset Walk and a water park right beside the hotel.
