Tranquility Bay Resort

- Rooms are ok in terms of size, but the not that clean, and they are very old. Beach and pool are very good!

- In general, it is not worth it, very expensive and you have to do the check in at 4pm and the check out at 11am. If you travel only for 1 day you dont have the possibility of enjoy the hotel. Additionally, the staff is not friendly/flexible to find a solution - Since the check in the staff was not that kind, not collaborative or with service spirit - Rooms are old and not that clean - Restaurant very expensive and the food very poor quality, even in the restaurant there was a cockroach in the table. I had to ask to move to another table and the staff didnt ask for excuses or something, so apparently, they are very familiar with the cockroach

I booked a single night and paid $200 for two extra hours for late checkout. I booked this place to be able to do jet skis with my 18 year old son who’s getting ready to go to college. The paperwork at the hotel said 18 and up for operator. I booked and paid for the service and the morning of the scheduled time, my son and I went down and were told you have to be 21 years old to drive, but he could ride on my jet ski. It’s odd because it’s not the law, and the hotel rule is not correct because you advertise it as being 18. I missed out on scheduling something else that day, I paid $200 extra to check out late so we would have time after the jet skis (wasn’t needed), and the $300 plus dollars wasn’t returned to me until after the trip was over, so I was still out of that money in order to do something else. Completely dissatisfied with that portion, but the rest of the stay was nice. Beautiful place.

We are a French family and our experience at Tranquility Bay was simply fantastic — something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Everything was nearly perfect. Our villa with an ocean view was exceptional: spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with every comfort. The beds were huge and incredibly comfortable — a big plus for me as I often have back issues and tend to be quite sensitive when it comes to bedding. We loved everything from the pools to the beach to the bar — the whole resort felt like paradise. And finally, a big thank you to the staff, who were all friendly and helpful. A special mention to William for the warm welcome and assistance! Highly recommended — we can’t wait to come back.

Property is amazing. Three pools. Private beach. Absolutely picture perfect sun sets every evening. Families will love the oversized games. Couples can get their romantic privacy. Wonderful resort, everything about it. Wrist bands as room keys brilliant.
