DREAMCATCHER by DW - ADULTS ONLY

Stayed here twice - first time was amazing. Second was less so, and the 3rd time didn't end up happening. First stay: The room we stayed in was fantastic - outdoor lobby, bathrooms, etc are a really neat touch. Great incorporation of nature into the stay, and also it's homey and welcoming. The teas are great. I was super excited for the 2nd stay. Then everything went sideways.

I was very excited for the second stay (one night). Upon arrival, we checked in about 7pm into a different room. As soon as I opened the door for the bathroom, there was a strong smell of mold, and a lot of mold was obvious in the area. Photo posted. We weren't able to switch rooms until after 1am, which made things very inconvenient. I had asked the front desk on the way out the following morning, and they told me that they would be ok with a suite for stay #3 at the rate I paid for this stay...and that management would send me an email to confirm. There was no third stay because no management ever got back to me. I reached out to the hotel on no less than 5 different occasions, and every time front desk said I would be contacted by management, and made me think I would have the discount for my trouble. It wasnt until the evening before I'd have come back to the hotel for Stay #3 that front desk told me I'd only get a $40 discount. By that time of course, the prices for hotels had gone up by more than $40. I stayed at Tryst (right on the beach in Condado) and it was great. All I wanted to do was come back to the hotel for one more night and give them a 5* review. But I've never had such flaky responses from management in any industry or with any product. I felt like mgmt was hiding behind front desk (front desk was very courteous and professional by the way). Negative stars for management style, and for booking people in rooms with a lot of mold.

Dreamcatcher is gorgeous. Walking into the gate is like stepping into another world, somewhere deep in the jungle. The common spaces unwind like a fairytale as you enter, with water features providing a sonic backdrop and myriad lights creating a magical effect. The rooms also have a lot of personality and care. The combination of indoor/outdoor spaces and integration of interior and landscape design makes this hotel very special.

Mosquitos can be annoying. There are fans to blow them away from some of the key common spaces, but because the hotel is not a fully enclosed indoor space, they are there, so be prepared and bring some repellent.

A great experience and a Wonderful staff and team. They were very helpful and compassionate for me, I am disabled with a service dog.

An absolute gem in PR! The pictures don’t even do justice to what you experience. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed, and I can compare to many, as well 5 stars. The hotel is located in a gated community, which means it’s all times very quiet. From your first step into the property you already feel that you are in paradise, starting from the smells ending with the little jungle they created . Attention to details, room size more than generous, comfortable beds and the outdoor shower, my god it makes you want to never leave this place. Superb breakfast, great room service and staff. Loved the fact that when you have a late flight you can enjoy your entire day at the beach and still come back and shower. Ps: the different beach towels every day made always my day, felt like unwrapping every day a new gift . Thank you for the best experience
