Starting our journey in Houston, we couldn't resist the allure of Hot Pot, where the promise of Jamaican delicacies awaits. At this long-time favorite, we relished in the early happy hour treat. It was an experience filled with the delightful taste of Jamaican flavors paired with an inviting atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for our trip.
Upon reaching Dallas, Kitchen + Kocktails was our first stop. Known for its vibrant Sunday brunch scene, this spot did not disappoint. As we indulged in dishes like catfish and grits and jerk lamb chops, the infectious atmosphere and impeccable service made this visit unforgettable. Despite being a bit on the pricey side, the lively energy and delicious food delivered an experience worth savoring.
Tricky Fish in Plano revived memories of earlier days spent in Dallas. This restaurant, known for its delicious seafood and inviting atmosphere, was a nostalgic stop. Although we only indulged in a quick drink and some appetizers, the friendly service and fire-grilled calamari reminded us why this place holds a special place in our hearts.
