Where to Stay: Oniropetra Boutique Hotel

During my trip to Karpenisi, I had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Oniropetra Boutique Hotel, and I couldn’t recommend it more! Nestled in the heart of nature, it’s the perfect escape for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that had everything you could want to start your day.
The rooms were spacious, super cozy, and offered stunning views of the snowy mountains. After exploring the area, I loved coming back to the stylish lobby with its inviting fireplace.
The staff was exceptionally polite and attentive, making the experience even more memorable!

Exploring Karpenisi

The best way to explore Karpenisi is by car. The area is renowned for its scenic mountain routes, perfect for road trip enthusiasts.

For history lovers, the region is rich in cultural heritage. A visit to Proussos Village and the Monastery of Panagia Proussiotissa is a must. The monastery, perched dramatically on the cliffs, is not just a religious site but a testament to the area's rich past. Karpenisi is dotted with picturesque villages, each offering local cafes, shops, and restaurants.

Insider Tip: Don’t leave without visiting a local deli to taste prosciutto and other traditional, handmade Greek cold cuts naturally cured.
