Imagine stepping into a peaceful jungle area where elephants roam freely near a beautiful waterfall. This Half-Day Elephant Observation program (available in Morning or Afternoon sessions) offers a chance to connect with these amazing animals in a natural setting.
Your day starts with hands-on activities like preparing food for the elephants, feeding them, and learning about their behaviors. You’ll also get to observe them as they walk and forage in the jungle. Afterward, take a break by the waterfall (no elephant bathing) and enjoy herbal tea.
Throughout the experience, you’ll see the elephants’ natural behaviors and learn about their care from our knowledgeable team. At Joy Elephant Sanctuary, we focus on ethical and meaningful interactions, offering a chance to see elephants as they truly are. Der Ausflug war wirklich schön, das Programm war genau wie beschrieben und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Beide Guides waren super freundlich, und die Elefanten wirkten dort sehr zufrieden und gut aufgehoben. Kann ich wirklich jedem empfehlen!👍

This was the literal best day ever! I can’t stress how ethical this sanctuary is enough!! They truly respect and care for the animals. All were knowledgeable, kind and helpful to the group. 10/10 and would do it again and again!

Completely ethical, only their first year as a sanctuary, guide was amazing, shuttle service was great from our hotel, the animals are provided with such good care and a lovely home. No touching and keeping our distance from the animals was great. I would recommend this to anyone, 10/10
The visit was very nice , Altought It would had being good to know that it was far . Also the waterfall isn’t as big as expected. But in general is a good tour and nice people
