Step into the heart of Parisian history on a small-group Notre-Dame Cathedral tour, limited to just 7 guests for a personal and enriching experience. Begin outside on the cathedral’s iconic Parvis, where your expert guide brings to life the symbolism carved into the three great portals, the stories behind the Gallery of Kings, and the religious and political drama etched into the stone. You'll walk along the southern side to admire the South Rose Window from the outside, and see the flying buttresses that revolutionized medieval architecture and helped save the structure during the 2019 fire.
Then, follow your guide into the newly reopened interior of Notre-Dame. Inside, stand beneath the soaring ribbed vaults of the nave, where light pours through brilliant stained glass. You'll explore the side chapels, view sacred altars, and learn about the relics once housed here—such as the Crown of Thorns—and the significance they held for centuries of worshippers. Along the way, your guide will share the story of Victor Hugo’s impact on the cathedral’s restoration, how Napoleon was crowned emperor here, and how artisans today are rebuilding it by hand, stone by stone.
This tour offers a rare opportunity to experience both the outside and inside of Notre-Dame in depth, with the added value of a passionate guide and a small group that ensures a thoughtful, unhurried experience.

We had such a wonderful experience as a family of 3 on the Notre-Dame Cathedral Interior and Exterior Guided Tour in Paris. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought so much heart and history to the experience. She spoke with passion and clarity, painting vivid stories of the cathedral’s past, architecture, and restoration. It was a truly enriching tour that gave us a much deeper appreciation of this iconic monument. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to connect more deeply with the soul of Paris.
The guide was very interesting and knew his subject very well. It was a shame for us that it rained during the outdoor explanations.
Super knowledgeable guide, great, informative tour. We were thrilled.
The guide told us something about the history, but she didn't provide any broader context. We couldn't take a guided tour inside the church because we were asked to be quiet. While we were standing in line outside, she only described the façade and the portals in more detail. To be honest, this guided tour didn't really help us; we've been on much better ones where the guides were more enthusiastic.
Good
Quentin was super. Very knowledgeable and upbeat. Small group made it easy to do Q&A. Good overview.
Learned a lot of facts about the building that would not have known otherwise.
Very well informed guide with a passion for subject
