From Roatan: 3-Stop Snorkeling Adventure and Beach Break

Die Bootsfahrt war kurz. Schnorcheln direkt in Ufernähe. Hätte mir eine längere Fahrt gewünscht.

Our snorkeling adventure was just amazing! I saw more beautiful underwater activity than I had on some scuba dives elsewhere in the world. The guides were very attentive and helpful. In the water they cleaned up the reef from forgotten fishing ropes in order to preserve their habitat. I just hope the mass tourism does not ruin this in future. Thanks to all for this fantastic trip! Anytime again!!

An excellent snorkelling trip! I booked for a group of 5 and we had the trip to ourselves! They were at the cruise port to pick us up when we got there, about a 20 minute drive in a modern SUV with fun facts about the island along the way. They equipped us with fins, mask and snorkel, and either a pool noodle or life jacket depending on your preference. We toured 3 reefs in the area, all with different features. The guide was great- pointing out many cool animals we might have missed otherwise including squid, stingrays, urchins and star fish. Back at the dock there were bathrooms, change rooms and a fresh water shower which I thought was a nice touch.

Der Schnorcheltrip ist nicht zu empfehlen. Nach dem wir auf das Boot eingestiegen sind und nicht einmal richtig Platz genommen haben, waren wir vor den Toren des Hafens schon am ersten Stop. Das vor einem Hafen keine großartige Fische sind bzw. Korallen zu finden sind, kann sich jeder selber denken. Ok, dann hofften wir auf den 2. Stop. Nach 2min Fahrt waren wir schon angekommen. Die Strecke hätten wir auch schwimmen können. Im trüben Wasser war auf 15m ein kleiner Frachter gesunken…wow, dachten wir, wie unglaublich spannend. Ironie. Naja und auch der 3. Stop versprach nicht wirklich besser zu werden, so das wir nach 10min dann abgebrochen haben. Warum man uns dort abgesetzt hat, bleibt dem Kapitän sein Geheimnis. Nie wieder.

This was absolutely a fantastic activity. Every time I snorkel I manage to see something new and also this time was no difference. I saw a group of squids ane shrimps (this one was really a quick one). of course the marine life is nonetheless incredible and all sorts of tropical fishes xan be seen living on this reef. Pick up service, the equipment and the whole orgabization was top. The driver, the guide and the boat rider took great care of us. would absolutely recommend it!

J’ai adoré mon activité, les spots de plongés étaient vraiment beaux. Le guide nous montrait des coquillages, espèces sous-marines et bien d’autres. Je recommande ! L’équipe était très avenant.

We saw more fish than we’ve ever seen snorkeling before. Even saw a lion fish. The guides did a great job pointing out different fish so we didn’t miss them. Such a beautiful reef, then stopped at a great secluded beach after snorkeling. They had great masks too, which was a relief since a bad mask can ruin the experience. Perfect snorkeling day.

we went all the family and it was extremely pleasant, easy and simple. I recommend this trip for the quality of the guides and the value for our money. thank you!
