The drive with Alex was entertaining and enjoyable. The walking tour of the farm was interesting. Fiona is such a lovely person. Her hospitality was warm. The tea was good and lunch was delicious.
The transportation and the tea tour was well worth it to experience the countryside of Kenya. Very educational, plenty of walking, delicious lunch!
The activity was chill and interesting. Loved the scenery more than anything. The food was good too. My driver was late but made up for it be being really nice. Overall a great experience.
Alex was great! Explained history of Kenya. Traffic is horrible but Alex was calm and made the drive enjoyable. He was a pleasure to talk to. Tea farm was peaceful and beautiful. After the chaos of Nairobi, it felt like you were in another world. Fiona was gracious and kind. Lunch was amazing. Highly recommend. I’d definitely do it again.
I had an amazing experience at Tea Farm in Kiambethu, Nairobi—definitely a 5 out of 5! The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offers a perfect escape from the city. The lunch at The Team Farm is also fantastic—fresh, delicious, and perfectly complements the overall experience. What truly made the visit exceptional was our guide, Alex. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable time. Alex’s passion and professionalism truly stood out. I highly recommend The Team Farm for anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and educational outing near Nairobi. I’ll definitely return!
The person driving me there was nice and accommodating. The tour itself was not exactly what I expected. The place is absolutely gorgeous and relaxing and I’m so happy I went, however I expected to walk through the fields and really see the whole tea plantation. Instead, Fiona, the owner, showed us a glimpse of the tea bushes and explained the tea process, and then we walked in the nearby forest, and spent most of our time having lunch. The lunch was amazing, in an adorable setting, but I expected more going around the farm. Another thing I didn’t expect: the owners of the tea farm are British people who settled during colonial times. It was not a topic of conversation during the tour but it’s easy to do the maths. In no way is this reflected in their attitude, but be mindful of triggers.
