Couldn’t have wished for a better day, lovely friendly people on the boat and on the island.
So beautiful and so much fun!
Fun trip with lots of interesting information about the history and development of the local area. Plenty of time to explore and take photos of the abbey, which was the most important part of the trip for me. We saw nesting birds and seals. Recommend.
Recorded guide, which is fine, but hard to rate. The boat ride was interesting and informative. Overall the trip was fantastic, but the real star is Inchcolm island. It is amazing. Had we not gotten off on the island, I am not sure I could recommend it.
Great boat trip and interesting island with old monastery. We even saw some seals!
There is nowhere near enough to do on the island for the advertised 90 minutes - and for some reason we were left for 130 minutes this day, a 3½ hour total time instead of the expected 3 hours. Now the abbey was very nice and we explored it all (possibly more than I should have done with a bum knee) - and it was good for maybe 45 minutes. But the guides advised us not to go to the WW2 huts as the seagulls regarded it as their territory and were likely to attack. That left a small shop and an even smaller museum. The boat itself was lovely and very well run and they did show us some seals on the way back that was lovely - but this was at least an hour too long.
The staff were friendly and engaging and helpful. Excellent customer service. Special thanks to Neil, outstanding customer service in the gift shop on the Island, very helpful and helped with getting the laté coffee out of the machine. The trip was outstanding from start to finish, with every staff member we encountered welcoming and engaging in conversation. Fantastic trip, saw seals, puffins and lots of other birds too.
This activity was well worth the money. My mom and I got off on the island and the amount of time we were allotted was the perfect amount. The Crew was outstanding and very friendly. 12/10 recommend!
