Penguins! This isn’t really a trip trip - you just head to the departure point and then get ferried across to the island. The guide is really good at providing info and making sure nobody steps out of line but it’s mostly just managing safety and shuttling people to the island. After that it’s all about the penguins. If you’re excited about the thought of seeing penguins in their natural habitat - you won’t be disappointed by doing this trip!
The service was overall very good quality... we have no complaints about the team in charge of the expedition. For people like us who would come between the end of March and the beginning of April, you should know that the last day to do this excursion is March 31st since this is the period when the penguins leave for migration, so few penguins were observed.
excellent tour, guides explain very well
excellent organisation helpful guides
The explanations over the loudspeaker are too much, the English is barely understandable, despite the loud volume. Otherwise everything is fine.
Interesting creatures seen in their natural habitat
Excellent friendly guide and very well explained. Very interesting and charming site
much more expensive here than on their leaflet then, that's weak
Unique visit to a penguin sanctuary is hard to match. The time on the island was about right but perhaps could have been 30 minutes longer but this woudl have been cutting it too close for the cruise ship schedule. 4 hours of riding on the ferry is s stiff price to pay for 1 hour on the land but there is no other way to do it. Ferry ride was much more luxurious than expected with airline type seats and interesting content on video monitors. As comfortable as you can make it.
