We did the trek with Arnold as our guide and it was fantastic! Arnold managed to find orangutans on both days. If you come on this trip, don't hesitate to ask for him as your guide. We saw the alpha male and even several mothers with their babies. Arnold was truly the king of the jungle.
A dream come true. We saw 6 or 7 Orang Utans. One of them was the rare Alpha male!!! Several other monkeys were always nearby. Even two Gibbons. The guide adapts to your pace, as it is quite exhausting. Food was great and plenty. All in all, a 5 Star trip!
The hiking is strenuous, as there are steep ascents and descents. I saw nine orangutans, one male and one female with and without babies/children, long-tailed macaques, Thomas langurs, pig-tailed macaques, white-handed gibbons, peacocks, and a black hornbill. The guides were very attentive and friendly. The rafting was fun.
We had an amazing trek with Thomas Retreat! Our guides were very nice and knew a lot about the wildlife and nature. We saw 5 Orangutans very close and lots of other animals. We would definitely do this again!
We had an amazing experience! The guide was attentive, helped us spot lots of wildlife, and adjusted the route to match our fitness. The food was delicious, the campsite was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful. Highly recommended!
Go head first for this activity, in two days I was able to see 8 orangutans, 2 gibbons, birds, reptiles etc. The guides are super great, and the camp cook is just incredible, I ate really well at the camp. No regrets, I will come back
We had a really nice trip in the jungle, where we saw many different monkeys and, of course, orangutans. It was an extremely demanding trip as we were there in the rainy season, so you have to be careful about that. Really nice food throughout the trip and fantastically good and wise guides.
Everything was very well organized and the guide was really nice. It was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend
