Everything went well! The tickets were easy to find and no issue at all!
It’s not suitable for kids since your go up in a very slim staircase, no windows. It takes about 30-40 min going up the stairs. You can’t stop going up since people are behind you and in front of. After multiple steps, there is a place where you can catch your breath but very slim. On the return, you have to look down while going down the stairs because it’s a spiral and each step makes you turn downwards.
it was famtastic
Worth the climb! The steps up to the dome are quite steep and a lot but it’s so worth it for the views. Really spectacular and special. It’s also great to then have 3 day access to the other parts of the tour so it’s not all crammed into one day.
Sehr interessant
Easy to find, the meeting point is just to get tickets. The audiobook guide is pretty basic, if you want more information on the duomo get an in person tour guide. If you just want to climb the dome and have flexible access to the grounds then do this tour. Spread out the dome climb and the bell tower climb if you can.
