Search for orca, humpback, minke, and gray whales on this guided whale-watching tour from Orcas Island. Travel across the water fast in a speedboat, and have an over 98% chance of seeing whales on your trip.
After making your way to the meeting point via the WA state ferry system, board one of the fastest whale-watching boats in the Salish Sea. Then, set off from Orcas to explore the San Juan Island archipelago and look for its largest inhabitants.
During the adventure, enjoy almost guaranteed sightings of whales in their natural environment, and learn about these fantastic creatures from your naturalist guide. You'll also have a high chance of encountering sea lions, seals, porpoises, eagles, otters, and sea birds, too.
Stay comfortable during the trip on a speedboat equipped with indoor and outdoor viewing platforms, bathrooms, and plenty of room for everyone to get a great view. After spending time at sea with some of its most majestic creatures, return to the original dock for drop-off.
This tour departs from Orcas Island which requires a Washington State Ferry reservation. We offer the same guarantee and tour from our mainland location in Anacortes. This is a good option for those staying in the Seattle or Bellingham area.

Orcas Island is an isolated island in the heart of the San Juans, only accessible by the WA state ferry system. Plan accordingly to arrive on Orcas Island with plenty of time before your tour departure
it was such an amazing tour with so much random facts and wonderful conversations with the crew. they knew so much about the whales, birds, the islands, and so much more. the entire crew took the experience you wanted and paid for to heart. they delivered on every expectation and want out of a trip like this. if you plan on doing a tour hands down treat yourself and book with them.
Super awesome ! We saw the killer whales. Chaz is super cool friendly and informative. We’ve had him on a private fishing charter before he’s really good. There was also a new girl shout out to her. She’s super cute and awesome and very intelligent and we had a great time. She’s from Georgia can’t remember her name, but she had a really cute haircut. Can’t wait to go back. My son attends Evergreen College in Washington for marine science, and he was saying that that would be awesome to work at your company so thank you guys.
The boat needs a speaker system so that everyone on the boat can hear the naturalist, not just the few people lucky enough to be standing near the naturalist. Honest information needs to be provided as to the whale activity.
The captain Brock and his crew were amazing and informative.
We saw a lot of wildlife, including orcas, harbor seals, harbor porpoises, bald eagles and sea lions! Great tour! It was very convenient that the boat had a restroom and a second floor viewing deck. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly.
It was a great time. Thank you!
This was a fun tour. Our guide was very informative and was outstanding at making the trip feel personnel. The boat was comfortable and clean. The tour started on time and was a good bang for the buck. Next time we are on Orcas…if we can’t to go on a whale tour…it will be with this same outfit. A+ experience
