  • Experience description:

Experience riding the Peak Tram, one of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways that rises to an altitude of 396 metres or about 1,300 feet above sea level. With over 130 years of service, the Peak Tram has served as an enduring symbol of Hong Kong’s rich heritage and retains its status as one of the country's few remaining historical public transportation systems.

As you travel uphill for approximately 10 minutes, observe the optical illusion of buildings seemingly tilting towards Victoria Peak, also known as The Peak. This phenomenon is caused by the tram's steep ascent and the passengers' reclined position. The journey concludes at The Peak Tower, a vibrant hub of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, all set against the backdrop of the city.

Upon reaching the summit of Victoria Peak, visit Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong. From this elevated vantage point, delight in panoramic views of the cityscape, Victoria Harbour, and Island South, encompassing towering skyscrapers and picturesque landscapes. With its open-air design, Sky Terrace 428 offers a 360-degree perspective, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beauty of Hong Kong from every angle.

The app with the tickets doesn't work you need the original email with attached tickets... Even in Google wallet it needed the original email as code wouldn't scan. Otherwise breath taking and well worth booking in advance to avoid the initial crowd. it is very very crowded once scanned in but Hong Kong efficiency sorts you and you move quickly to train. The station at top is awful.. very crowded and selling lots of souvenirs but once outside the views are simply stunning. Definitely a must do trip.... We found a walk around the top of the Peak which was very beautiful and easy walking, well worth doing it you have the time.

Seemed that the queue for Ticket holder was much longer than the queue at the ticket counter. you did not save any time at all. Stunning view though.
