1. Pick up and Departure:
- The tour starts at the agreed meeting point (plaza de armas de cusco).
- Generally, the tour starts at 9:00 am or 13:00 pm.
2. Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun):
- Exploration of Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun of the Incas.
- Observation of the impressive Inca constructions and their history.
3. Sacsayhuaman:
- Visit to the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, with breathtaking views of Cusco.
- Learn about the history and significance of this impressive structure.
4. Qenqo:
- Exploration of the archaeological complex of Qenqo, with its labyrinth, amphitheater and Intiwatana (astronomical observatory).
- Learn about the rituals and activities that took place in this site.
5. Puca Pucara:
- Visit the military fortress of Puca Pucara, with its multiple structures and walls.
- Learn about the architecture and function of this fortress.
5.Tambomachay:
- Exploration of the archaeological site of Tambomachay, known for its Inca irrigation and agricultural systems.
- Learn about the importance of water in the Inca culture.
6. Return to Cusco:
- Return to Cusco, where the tour will end at the Plaza de Armas or near the Qoricancha

Our guide was Luis. He was amazing. Luis was not only extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited but he told us his personal and familial stories associated with the places which added another dimension to the experience. He suggested we remove our shoes and walk barefoot through the grass at Sacsayhuaman to feel the energy of the sacred space. We did exactly that! Probably the best tour of the many tours we experienced all over the beautiful country of Perú.
El primer guía, que solo guió en el templo de Qorikancha, era claramente un principiante que estaba aprendiendo. Después de eso, cambiamos a un guía más experimentado, Luis, y la diferencia fue abismal. Entiendo la necesidad de que los nuevos guías se entrenen en situaciones reales, pero este muchacho no estaba listo. Estuve a punto de abandonar el tour e irme por mi cuenta, hasta que el guía profesional salvó el día (y la calificación). Aun así, Qorikancha era una parada importante, y siento que fue injusto haberla desaprovechado.

Nos gustó todo, aprendimos mucho, nuestra guia Naty se manejaba muy bien, respondia todas las preguntas. A pesar de que nos cansamos un poquito ya que veniamos recien ambientandonos a la altura fué un tour completamente recomendable. Lo que mas nos gustó? Todo. Lo que mas nos sorprendió? Qorikancha, ya que era un lugar del que no sabíamos mucho.
This tour was amazing. I went with my brother the very first day we arrived in Cusco. I think it’s a very quiet trip. Of course you have to walk a lot, but I think if you try the coca tea you’ll be fine. The tour is very interesting and the places you see are like unreal. Super recommended!!
