Our guide Ryan was very good, thank you for the tour.
Ryan took us on the tour and he was wry knowledgeable and took us around all the unique sights you could see on a bike ...all round great tour !
Jack was a fantastic native guide - Five Stars for him! He explained everything and did answer every question about SF.
Ryan was the best guide we ever had with Get Your Guide 👍🏻
The explanations and commentary provided by our guide Adam were very interesting and detailed. Lots of useful information and details that you won't find in any travel guide. Excellent service. Thank you, Adam.
They sold us tickets to return the bike on the ferry, but they never told us that they only accept 100 bikes per departure, and by the time we got in line, it was already full, and the next departure was in two hours, so we had to buy other tickets on our own. On the way back, we mentioned this to the manager, and all he said was "sorry."
We had a great time exploring the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito by bike. It was very windy this day so it was a bit scary to pass the bridge. Our guide Ginger was sure that everyone could go in their own pace and made quick pauses to gather the group at certain stops where she told us a bit about the surroundings. We took the golden gate ferry back to SF and it was $8 if you have a clipper card.
Ryan did a great job showing us around and was knowledgeable about the city and able to answer all our questions. Would definitely recommend him! The company itself however, is questionable. They require a 500 USD deposit per bike which isn’t mentioned anywhere online. They also “scare” you into buying insurance for the bike claiming if anything happens you wont get your deposit back. Another 10 USD per bike not mentioned anywhere online. And then you also have to sign a waiver releasing them from any indemnity. In my opinion, the bikes aren’t that new or fancy for all the additional costs and trouble. Lack of transparency and negative atmosphere results in a low rating from me. There was another bike shop down the road that looked a lot better.
Our tour guide Ryan was amazing. Super chill guy who knew a lot about the area. He even recommended a route for after the tour since we got to keep the bikes for the remainder of the day. The tour could have been a bit more focussed in downtown SF and not just the piers and golden gate bridge. And the ending in Sausalito was a bit random, otherwise great tour. E-bikes highly recommended!!
