Mark was lovely, good local knowledge, and genuine. Really nice individuals at the stops we went to who were very happy to share thir knowledge. lovely wines too. Great job would recommend.
Mel our tour guide was absolutely fantastic, full of good vibes and humour! cheese coma by the end of it. really nice way to try different spots in Manchester, cheeses and wines! id really recommend this to friends and family
My daughter went with her friend. There were 16 in the group. They had a good laugh, went to 5 different, off the beaten track places and tasted cheese with wine in each place. She really enjoyed it and said it was worth the money.
Mel was great, and the food was lovely. However, absolutely no communication from the company when I had a problem, don't answer the phone or reply to messages. I think this trip is overpriced now the rate has raised. One stop is in a local church with a cafe, we didn't support the church but instead sat in the pews eating cheese brought by Mel. Much better to support the church surely? Take a drink, you don't get one until you've consumed quite a bit of cheese!
Absolutely amazing!!! Mel was fantastic, the selection of cheese was amazing, the wine was actually lovely (we are not wine drinkers!) and the quiz aspect was so fun! Great value for money, knowledgeable guide and interesting tour. Saw loads of bits of Manchester we otherwise may not have seen. Glad our Scottish accents were easy to understand! Thanks so much for this experience, highly recommended
Excellent tour.
A bit rushed. Only 2 wine samples. Not a lot of input from the cheesemakers. Fun idea to have quiz teams but passing the scoring to a paying guest wasn't a good plan , as they didn't know who was who. Why should they? They've paid to be on the tour. Very rushed at the Albanian Restaurant. And it was all over in 1 3/4 hours. Needs to be at least 2 and a half.
We had a great time with Mel our tour guide who shared lots of interesting information with us both about various cheeses and also about the local area.
Great tour, lots of variety and wonderful guide
