Our tea ceremony is led by Japanese instructors who wear traditional kimono, speak English, and have many years of experience.
This is a perfect introduction to Japanese culture for visitors from around the world.You will learn how to make matcha and enjoy traditional Japanese sweets.
1. Welcome & Introduction
You will be warmly welcomed in a traditional Japanese room.The instructor will explain the meaning and history of the tea ceremony
2. Tea Ceremony Demonstration
Watch a live demonstration of the tea ceremony.
The instructor will show you how to use the tools and explain the basic manners of tea serving.
3. Hands-On Matcha Making & Tasting
Next, you will try making your own bowl of matcha using traditional tools.
After making the tea, you can drink it and enjoy a seasonal Japanese sweet in a peaceful setting.
