Almaty: Kolsai & Kaindy Lakes with Charyn Small-Group Tour

We had an amazing time on this full-day tour with our guide Muhta, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept everything running smoothly. The scenery at Charyn Canyon, Kaindy Lake, and Kolsai Lake was absolutely stunning, and the traditional village lunch was a real highlight. Although it was a long day with a tight schedule, everything was well-organized and worth it. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see Kazakhstan’s natural beauty in a single, unforgettable trip. However, if you have more time on your trip, it may be better to enjoy these 3 locations over 2 days instead.

We really enjoyed the trip and were able to visit many locations in one day. Everything was well organized and planned. Our guide Zenis was very friendly and helpful. The food was also very tasty and plentiful. Everything was great. I would definitely recommend it.

It is a good day tour to cover great attractions like Charyn Canyon and lakes. But if someone has a day extra, would suggest to take 2 day tour as that will allow more time to explore the beauty. We had good fun doing Horse Riding, crossing across river, wathcing green hills and mountains, etc. Our guide (Aika) was good and kept everyone engaged in the conversation. The lunch arranged at Saty village was wonderful. One should not miss that experience. Overall it was a great day spend. Bit tiring but worth it.

Long Trip, but so much worth it. the sites are awesome, especially the lakes. Zhenis is a great guy with a lot of knowledge about the history and even at the end of the long trip he kept our spirits up. thanks a lot.

Well organized long day trip. Wish had 20 more minutes at Charynn canyon since time allotted was little short. Lunch at a local Kazakh house was a feast, never had a lunch like that. Tour guide Aika was very good. She was attentive to all the travellers needs and even clicked photos for everyone. Tour provider Kazakhstan Guided tour is a good company and reliable.
