Great way to find out about the city. Worth hearing same route described by different live guides. attractions visited and many more identified for future trips. Quality buses, friendly staff.
Die gelbe Tour war nur in Englisch, fährt nur bis etwa 17 Uhr und hatte technische Probleme beim elektronischen Guide.
So great! I would definitely recommend. Get there early and take full advantage of the transportation to landmarks and sites. Also fantastic info, especially when told with Scottish flavour by live guides
We did both the red and yellow routes. A bit disappointed that the yellow route bus was not the advertised electric one but the standard diesel. The tour is well worth it if you are unfamiliar with the city; you get an overview of the whole area and information on landmarks and places that you may wish to visit later which is exactly what we did. The commentary is prerecorded and disposable ear phones are provided. The red route has various languages, the yellow in English only. It would be useful if a map of the routes was provided on the web site to allow for some preplanning. You do get a list of stops but if you don't know the city this is not that helpful unless you spend a lot of time with Google Maps! The very good maps are plentiful on the buses themselves. All told, a worthwhile excursion.
Loved the informative commentary and the sights we visited. Our first driver was helpful and friendly. sadly our last journey was with a driver who didn't tell us that the stop we were at wasn't the one to catch the next bus, even though he told us when it was. And the other bus driver didn't stop even though we waved our arms, so we had to spend money getting an uber instead, which soured our feelings about the activity.
Lots of interesting information
All steps were explained in detail and in a very interesting way, and embellished with little anecdotes.
A great way to see the city with two different routes. One thing that could be improved is that many of the audio boxes on the red route bus didn't work, so you couldn't follow the audio guide.
Good as always, helps alot to get to know place, history etc., always using it when travelling. Thank you.
