Our guide Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Valletta and linked the food that we tried to that history. We have done food walks before and this was one of the best. There were frequent stops to sample the local delicacies and finished with a very generous sit down lunch and a local beer. Do take water and wear comfortable shoes for walking. Chris made sure that when we were stopping for a while on the streets that there was opportunity to stand in the shade. The group was small and this is another advantage . Do book if you want to learn about this incredible city from a different angle!! Chris is witty and very knowledgeable and has a folder of pictures that help you to understand certain elements of the tour more clearly.

Great tour and a very good way to get your bearings on Valetta and learn some of the history you could miss out on otherwise. Generous portions of food, my only suggestion is make sure you bring plenty of water or prepare to buy as many of the stops are outside or when you do stop indoors the drinks are assigned (wine, coffee etc). It didn't affect the experience for us though :)

The tour was excellent. The tour guide, Chris, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. It was clear how much he knew about the city, its history, and of course its cuisine. The tour provided a good balance of sightseeing, food and drink, and gentle exercise to burn some of it off - we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Malta.

It was an awesome tour! All of the foods/drinks were delicious and we got to see also a lot of historical buildings during the tour. Our tour guide, Romina also told us a lot of stories, historical facts about them. We highly recommend it!
