I had watched a documantary about Frida from 2024 before visiting. I can recommend doing that. Great experience. I can also recommend the Trotsky museum and the Coyoacán Garden Park nearby.
It was great! Not crowded at all and we had enough time to read museum labels without felling rushed and take in the exhibitions. The tickets were provided through the app with specific instructions as well as e-mail and through WhatsApp.
Great
I liked everything
A wonderful and enlightening museum experience. Well curated and well organized entry. Would highly recommend a visit to the museums and the entire area. Go, go, go!
How she battles through her challenges in life and turned to art instead of succumbing to the physical challenges
Everything went really well and the museum is fantastic anyway!
On the official website of the Frida Museum, tickets are 320 MXN per person, or $22.62 CAD. On your website, tickets are 749.89 MXN, or $53.01 CAD. I paid double the price with your website for NO extra benefits. The tour was ordinary and not worth such an exorbitant price. Also, there were no signs allowing us to know where to go. As a result, we ended our visit having missed part of the museum. We went back to get our bags at the entrance and, at the exit, that's when we saw that there was another part to the museum. Unfortunately, we couldn't get back in with our bags... we left empty-handed. Having visited several museums in Mexico, none of them exceeded 150 MXN, or $10.6 CAD. The price paid to go to the Frida museum was far too high for the few paintings on display.
