Medellin: Comuna 13 Graffiti Tour, Street Food and Cable Car

Before I start, I will say that The tour guide was very accommodating because we missed the pick up stop. For that I am very grateful. However, upon arriving at Commun 13 there were certain aspects of the tour that we did not get. For example, we wanted to visit the large Jesus statue in the center of the community. However, this was not on the agenda for our tour guide. In fact, when we met up with other travelers, they described other events within the Community that we were not shown. Most of the tour was just walking through the community, without stopping at key points to take in the environment we were in. Overall, I feel like we did not get the full experience of the community 13 tour. The things that we did experience were the dance show, stopping at one of the tourist selling sites, stopping at a local bar, and that’s about it.

It was a lot of fun and very informative. A must-see! Thanks to our guide Lina, everything was perfect. Street food and drinks were included.
