I think it’s a place you visit when in Budapest but I didn’t enjoy the experience as much as I hoped. It wasn’t horrendous just a few things were disappointing. The weather was a bit up and down which probably didn’t help. There isn’t enough sun-loungers for everyone we had to wait to get one. The indoor pool areas just didn’t feel very clean. There is lots of indoor pools areas but just felt dirty when seeing bits in the pools. The main outdoor pool was completely closed for renovation, this was not made clear upon the booking. It only stated “Disclaimer: Pools and saunas are subject to regular maintenance while they are out of order for short period” If I was to return to Budapest, it’s highly likely I wouldn’t return here.
The facility is a bit dated, especially the locker rooms could use a retouch, and prepare for it being crowded if the day is sunny. It was pleasant nevertheless, great to be able to dip into water during the scorching Hungarian summer
I loved the steam rooms. There was a lot to experience. 10/10 would recommend. U can definitely spend all day there and not get tired of it.
The large outdoor pool was closed.
My husband and I paid for the entrance to the spa and swimming pools. The next day we received a message that the largest pool was being renovated. There are two outdoor pools. I don't recommend it - it's not worth the money. All the sunbeds are taken. There is no place to lie in the sun. The pools are crowded.
.
We had a great day at the Spa, got there early (which is useful to get the sunbeds in the location you prefer) and expected to stay 3 or 4 hours and do something else in the afternoon. In the end we were there for 8 hours and had a great time trying all (well most anyway) of the pools, saunas, steam roms, etc., etc. I was a little disappointed at first that the main pool is under refurbishment, but don't let that put you off as there is so much space in the other outdoor pools that it is really not an issue. Great facilities, food and drink options and private cabins for changing were great, as an alternative to using lockers for all your gear. A little more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion. Highly recommended!!
I’ve been to this thermal bath several times before, but it was disappointed because the large outdoor pool was closed for renovation.
Belle expérience mais une partie en travaux dommage
