Taste Athens Like a Local: The Ultimate Street Food Tour
Kick off your foodie adventure at a beloved pie shop, where you’ll indulge in freshly made cheese pie or spanakopita (spinach & cheese pie)—flaky, golden, and bursting with flavor.
Next, savor Greece’s ultimate street food obsession—souvlaki! Whether you’re a meat lover or a vegetarian, enjoy mouthwatering skewers wrapped in warm pita, paired with juicy tomatoes and creamy tzatziki. Wash it down with a refreshing local beer or wine.
Wander through Athens’ vibrant shopping district and stumble upon a boat-shaped Greek pizza spot—yes, it’s as unique and delicious as it sounds! Then, treat yourself to loukoumades—Greek donuts drenched in honey and cinnamon—from a legendary pastry shop.
As you meander through the artistic streets of Psyrri, soak in the neighborhood’s lively energy, street art, vintage boutiques, and charming cafés. Feel the creative pulse of Athens as you explore its local gems.
Finally, end your tour on a sweet note with exclusive Greek desserts and a one-of-a-kind local delicacy found only in Greece—an unforgettable flavor to take home in your heart (and taste buds!).

Yota was amazing!! Lots of information, not only on food, but culture and history as well. Great tips for exploring the city further.
We had a great experience! The food at every station is bite-sized so you don’t get too full at the first stop. We were very satisfied with the overall amount of food to try + the historical facts were extremely interesting!
Tour guide (Fortis) was fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The food was great and the group size was ideal. Overall a wonderful experience!
Tour was great as we didn’t have long in Athens we were able to see some great parts of the city while enjoying delicious foods and learning a little bit about the culture and language.
the tour guide (Yiota) was a great tour guide and knew lots about the local town and local food treats. She also knew lots of history about the town, and history about where some of the foofs and cuisines came from. Very knowledgable and definetly worth the money!
