Easy to collect the ticket and board the boat. The crew is friendly, the staff on board checks if you want to do the glass bottom boat or the snorkelling. The island is beautiful, definitely worth the visit. However, it‘s also a bit of a tourist trap, for example there is no water fountains to refill, but the shops are selling water at 7$. Better to bring what you need for the day :)
It was a lovely day and not too choppy out at sea. The boat to Green Island was quite full, but plenty of seats for everyone. Green Island was interesting. We enjoyed walking on the beach and there was a nice little walk to the other side of the island. We had a light lunch at the restaurant on the island which was tasty. They had another place you could buy takeaway food eg hot chips, burgers, hot dogs and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised to find the crocodile enclosure. We went to the turtle and croc feeding time and talk which was well worth visiting. This was an extra cost, but we felt it was well worth it. We enjoyed the glass bottom boat tour and our driver made an effort to make sure we all saw a turtle and different fish. We had a fund day. 😊
We had a great day and the weather in winter was perfect. We walked from our cruise boat which was only 100 metres away for our 8.30am tour. We had a great day and travelled there on a well appointed catamaran. We didn’t have a guide as it was a self-managed tour. We took our own snorkelling equipment so opted for the glass bottom boat. We were given the 9.30 tine which worked well as we only had to wait 10 minutes for that to start. The tour was great and the feeding of the fish was a bonus. The skipper was great with children and tourists and we saw so many things. After that we saw eagle rays from the jetty and a turtle. We also paid $45 for 2 sunlounges and umbrella on the beach. It was still hot and this worked out well. We had a great swim and snorkelled off the beach. We had to return at 2.30 due to our cruise ship departing so this tour was the perfect length. Before we left, we went to the beach next to the jetty. It was low tide but we saw huge rainbow fish and starfish.
The island was beautiful. Highly recommended. I had imagined the "Coral Reef" to be more beautiful, so I was disappointed. I wasn't happy with the price-performance ratio. I think you pay quite a lot of money for what you get. PLEASE NOTE!!! You leave the island at 2:30 p.m. and don't get back at that time. I would appreciate it if this were stated somewhere so that people know.
Snorkling mask was old and it was impossible to get tight . Also glass bottom boat was dissapoiting , I don’t recommend this activity . Waisting money.
The guide in the glass boat was amazing I paid extra on the day for the snorkeling. I wished they informed us that the was was cold
Nothing to see here water and island we’re very dirty
A beautiful beach with plenty of amenities on the island.
We had a beautiful day, beautiful weather and gracious hosts on the boat and on the island at the local restaurant. Amazing burger and beer at the restaurant with a truly international staff that could not have been nicer.
