Join a day trip from Brisbane and visit the Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island. Enjoy everything the resort has to offer, including a guided snorkeling experience and the opportunity to hand-feed wild dolphins.
When you check in at the wharf, the staff will communicate all tour times of the day to guests. Then, travel from Brisbane to Moreton Island on a scenic ferry ride. Enjoy a complimentary beverage either on the boat ride over to Moreton, or on the return journey.
Arrive at this beautiful island after an approximately 75-minute journey and spend some time exploring at your own leisure. Enjoy full access to the various pools, cafes, restaurants, bars, and, of course, the beach.
Included in your day trip is a snorkeling tour. The snorkeling experience takes you to one of Australia's best snorkeling locations, The Wrecks, which is home to a large variety of reef fish, coral formations, and marine life.
Learn about dolphin marine life with the optional 'Discover the World of Dolphins' presentation at the Eco Centre at 3:15 PM. Watch this informative demonstration, or simply explore the island at your leisure until sunset.
Then, make your way to the jetty for the wild dolphin feeding program. Witness a majestic pod of dolphins visiting the shallow shore, and see them play together until it’s time to be fed. Follow an expert into the shallow water and hand-feed fish to a wild bottlenose dolphin.
You will be assisted by the Dolphin Care Team, consisting of Eco Rangers and dedicated staff who operate under strict guidelines to ensure the protection of the dolphins.
At approximately 7:00 PM, leave the island and travel back to Brisbane, arriving at 8:15 PM.

Excellent tour. Perfect guides and helpers. Dolphin feeding was amazing
All good
Great, snokelling, walking and chilling
Very enjoyable experience and the guide was very knowledgable. Timekeeping of the snorkeling could be improved as we were told to check in at 12:45 and we were waiting for over an hour to start
Awful, terribly planned day, the snorkelling was okay even though the current on the day was strong (obviously not the fault of the activity provider). The dolphin feeding however, what we had waited for all day was terrible, waited around until 6-6:30 to be told right before feeding them that we would only get 1 fish between 2 people to feed a dolphin, we were told this was the case because they had too many people at the event and we couldn’t all feed the dolphin separately, had I known this ahead of time I would have just paid for one and let my girlfriend do this and save a hell of a lot of money. This ruined the day as it showed the event was only based around shoving as many people onto the beach as possible and making as much money as possible rather than allowing people to enjoy the dolphin feeding experience and limiting the amount of people who were booked. Overall a terribly planned event and an absolute scam for the amount we paid.
This is the second time I have been to the island and I really enjoy the day and try to ignore the poor organisation. It starts with the ridiculous parking system at Pinkenba and also ended there when the boom gates were not open to let the cars leave at the end of the day. Also we queued early for the dolphin feeding because we were leaving on the last boat but due to the illogical and later than advertised organisation of the queue we ended up being some of the last people to feed the dolphins and then had to rush to catch the said boat. When dealing with large groups of people they really need to improve their processes to minimise waiting around.
The trip was amazing. Had my snorkeling trip at 3:15pm and it was very educational, however I decided to rent some snorkeling equipment in the morning aswell and made my way to the wrecks, highly recommend it as you get to be at your own pace and explore them a longer than during the guided snorkel. Got to see 2 species of turtles, plenty of fish, a Lion fish and was lucky enough to see a spotted Wobbegong swiming around! The dolphin feeding was great, very educational and done very ethically, which was the most important part, keep the dolphins wild. All in all, great experience.
The activity experience was fantastic, and we had a great time. We participated in the snorkeling and evening dolphin feeding activities on May 5 at 3:15 PM. I cannot swim at all and this was my first time snorkeling. I am very grateful to the snorkeling instructor, who held onto the life buoy and guided me throughout the entire activity. Halfway through snorkeling, I realized I had lost my phone. The instructor quickly helped me search for it. He was very skilled and professional, and managed to retrieve my phone. I am extremely grateful to this snorkeling instructor.
We should receive more information about the trip in the booking detail. When we arrived at Tangalooma we didn't be received by a staff, so we went directly to Tangatour to do snorkelling and we rent there the locker $11, each. We knew later that we had access to $2 lockers at Daytrip lounge. Snorkelling was very fast... We should spend more time there. And about the dolphin feeding, they should control the number of visitors feeding, because we bought 2 tickets, but we had to choose who would feed the dolphin as the staff said there were so many people there and they couldn't give so much food for the dolphin. But the staffs are very kind and Feeding Dolphin Program is amazing.
