Buses are stuck in traffic, there are very few buses running, and they finish their routes very early in the day. Unfortunately, it's faster to walk.
The commentary was ok, no headphones. The route was pretty boring, couldn't understand the driver, long waits for next bus, no open top. we've done many of these, this was our least favorite.
Was a great way to get an overview of the city. We had GOS commentary from Stop 6 vack t9 Stop 1 which was fu ine - although there were some street closures and the driver did not let us know when we were missing things that were talked about- due to the closures. At Stop 1 we transferred onto another bus and this time had a lively and entertaining driver (with purple hair - sorry, cannot remember her name) who gave us live commentary as we drove around which was much better. She was the perfect guide. We ran into heavy traffic 9n the way to Stanley Park - but she did her best in very difficult traffic conditions. Overall it took about 2.5 hours t9 d9 tye whole loop due to the heavy traffic near Stanley Park.
Perfect, thank you.
Getting to know the city on my first day so I could plan out the rest of the week was great.
I find the bus tickets overpriced. If you do a little research beforehand, you can get a cheaper ride by taxi, water taxi, and public bus. The buses run at irregular intervals. Often, two come in quick succession, and then there is a long wait for the next one. We rented bikes on the second day. It costs the same and you can explore the city at your own pace.
