The Roman Forum tour was very rushed but it was informative. I would have liked to spend more time there. The underground was very interesting & a unique and less crowded experience.

Mooie tour en de gids (16 November 10.45 am) was fantastisch!

Messy, already when registering at the agreed location. Apparently the organization operates under a lot of different names and is therefore unrecognizable. Too big a group for the tour. The guide explained, while often only half of the group could see what he was talking about. And then quickly on to the next item. The guide came across as a man with a lot of knowledge and probably also humor, but his English was so Italian that I did not understand or comprehend most of it. Very unfortunate. In retrospect I would have preferred to walk around at my own pace (and at a quieter time). A few plus points: the extra access to the forum romanun and the underground walk in the coliseum. It started to rain in the coliseum and the guide probably adjusted his explanation, because some people apparently cannot stand rain? Very unfortunate.. The sights themselves are beautiful and interesting.

Our first tour guide was difficult to understand and spent time showing us his book and offering to sell us a copy. Our second guide for the colosseum was amazing. He had a passion for the history of Rome and was extremely informative. I feel the tour was overpriced and in all honesty I would not purchase again.

I enjoyed the first guide (from Eritrea) for the Forum much more then the second guide. He was very human and had a little sense of humor as well. He also offered to take photos. The second “official” Colloseum guide was rushed and spoke very quickly and did not allow us to really take anything in underground before having to move to the next area, again and again. I could have read what she said in a book. Very bland delivery. Disappointing, but hopefully you guys will get someone different. Overall the tour package of the Forum area, the Colosseum areas and underground was basic and introductory. It felt like not enough time to absorb and see everything. But I’m glad the voucher includes free entry to some of the areas the next day to explore and go deeper by oneself.

The guided tour was amazing! Giovanni was soooo good! Went with teenagers who may not have been "On" the tour but he made it so good for them!!! Unfortunately, the guide inside the Colusseum lowered the rating as the English was deficient and the listening system was poor. We wished Giovanni had a license to handle the tours inside the Colusseum.
