In this 2.5-hour class, you'll enter a cozy kitchen to prepare two iconic desserts with a mamie, your French grandmother for a day. With patience and passion, she will reveal the secrets behind making a perfect Tarte Tatin and delicate Madeleines, guiding you step by step in a relaxed and stress-free atmosphere.
It's an ideal experience for families and children, as well as for those who want to approach the world of pastry in a simple and authentic way, learning in a relaxed and fun way with the expert help of the mamies. As you savor the freshly baked desserts, she will also share her unique perspective on the city and Parisian life.
Paris may be the capital of French haute cuisine, but the mamies are the true keepers of the country's culinary heritage. And is there any better way to learn how to cook than from someone who has been perfecting their recipes for decades?

What a wonderful experience a must do. I booked this as a activity for me and my daughter while my wife was at a work function and this is definitely one of the highlights of our Paris visit. The guides have great charm and it just feels like someone entertaining you in their home.
We loved this baking class! Mamie was an excellent host with a fun, energetic and lovely personality. We went as a family and she was so inclusive and helpful with the kids. We all enjoyed our class and everything tasted amazing!
We are two couples and thoroughly enjoyed this activity. It’s a little complicated getting the recipes, but we all had a good time.
I would highly recommend this class. It was a lot of fun and we baked a delicious tart and madeleines.
This was such a fun morning! We made a tart tatin and Madeline cookies. It was a hands on experience with a real French baker who happens to be a grandmother. We met nice people from all over taking this class. I would highly recommend!
Actually had good directions this time but arrived 35 minutes early. We were not allowed in, even though it was raining. Told to go down to corner coffee shop. It was closed. Still not allowed in told to find another. Stood in doorway for 30 minutes in the rain. Others also. Too many people for the class. Felt crowded and did not get much help or attention. Finger to seat at end. They ended 30 minutes early. Not for people can not stand for long periods. Would not recommend or do again.
Guides were great, just wasn’t happy with the way the end product tasted. Too bland.
This was the best experience! We were a group of 14 university students and we had so much fun. A few of the students said it was the highlight of their whole week in Paris, and that’s saying a lot because they loved Paris!
Eines der Highlights während meinem Pariser Aufenthalt! Sehr hübsches Kurslokal, super nette und kompetente Kursleitung, locker-humorvolle Atmosphäre und am Schluss ein so gelungenes kulinarisches Ergebnis
