Disney Magic is one of our all-time favourite ships—and holds some very special memories for us. She may be the oldest in the fleet, but she looks fantastic thanks to several thoughtful updates. Her elegant, traditional décor reminds us of the classic oceanliners, yet she still feels fresh and modern throughout. Because she’s smaller, the ship is easy to get around and never feels overwhelming. Public spaces rarely feel crowded, which makes for a more relaxed atmosphere overall. Dining is solid across the board, and we especially love Rapunzel’s Royal Table and Animator’s Palate. Entertainment is a real highlight, with Broadway-style shows like Tangled: The Musical and some of the best character interactions at sea. There’s a great balance of Disney magic and classic cruising. Yes, it can be on the pricey side—but for us, the experience, service, and charm make Disney Magic one of the best ships out there.
