Book the trips you love

Whenever I'm driving up I-5, and I can't make my destination in one day, I always stay at the Hi-Lo. It's near Mt. Shasta and the Trinity region. Has the vibe of a retro 50's motel, with modern amenities. The beds have nice 100% cotton sheets. Some rooms have refrigerators. Suite 16 is perfect for families - 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen (I have stayed in it). There are also spots for RV parking, with hookups. Across the driveway is the Hi-Lo Cafe. Great food and great service, plus some Weed souvenirs.

I stayed at the Dauphine for my fortieth birthday at the beginning of June 2024 for five days. It was a decent hotel, and the best part was the saltwater pool and May Baily's - for the history if nothing more, but the one drink I had was also really good. It's close to Bourbon and many popular dining locations as well as near-to Jackson Square and the St. Louis Cathedral.

The Cape Hotel surpassed all of my expectations. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, and the hotel was gorgeous. Every corner was absolutely beautiful. The staff was also very accomodating and responsive.
