The tour collects you at the Guinness Storehouse but the Storehouse is not included in the tour. Instead, you travel to four hand-chosen pubs that serve "the best Guinness in Dublin". They really live up that moniker too, serving some of the creamiest, smoothest pints of Guinness you will ever be lucky enough to experience. Throughout the tour, you will be regaled with information and history about Guinness in Ireland and about the pubs in question, whom have a storied history with the stout and the state. You will come away knowing more about how to identify the good Guinness from the bad and Irish history than you ever thought possible. An absolute hidden gem of a tour and a must do on any Irish Bucket List.
The Irish Whiskey Museum is by far and away the best whiskey-themed tour in Ireland. All of the other branded tours are interesting and engaging in their own ways, but this neutral tour truly paints a 360-painting of the history of whiskey in Ireland; from the undisputable to the disputed to the very, very dark. I always recommend the Whiskey Blending Experience to tourists and Irish alike; learn all about the history of whiskey and then get the change to mix your own to take home. 10/10 - a MUST do on any Irish Bucket List!
The EPIC Irish Emigration museum is nestled in the heart of the CHQ building in Dublin City Centre, and it provides an insight into the high levels of Irish emigration throughout history and the impact that has had on Ireland and the world. The museum employs innovative storytelling techniques, featuring interactive exhibits and engaging multimedia presentations that vividly depict the stories of the Irish diaspora. Each display poignantly conveys personal narratives alongside significant historical events, creating an emotionally rich experience. Well worth a visit!
