YOLO Guesthouse

Location is excellent. Just 5-10 minutes walk from Myeong dong station and Myeong Dong shopping area. There are restaurants (local restaurants, issac toast, bubble tea, McDonald's) and convenience stores within 2-5 minutes walk. There is also a 12-floor Daiso store and an Olive Young store within a few minutes walk. There are coaches from the airport to Myeong Dong and it stopped right next to the Myeong Dong station and you just need to walk about 10-mins to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is located in a bit uphill and quiet area. They will give you a detailed menu for you stay there including how to get there, facilities provided, how to do laundry, how to check in yourself, how to dispose of your trash, etc. Our room 404 has a bunk bed and an attic queen bed. It's a bit small but good enough as we will not stay long in our room. The room is spotless, new and stylish. The only weird thing is that the quilt makes a rustling sound every time you move. The mattress on the attic is very jumpy. Whenever you move, the one sleeping beside you will be moved too. There is no room service nor breakfast. You can get an electric vacuum cleaner and clean the floor yourself. However, the kids loved the common room. It's big and clean. They enjoyed making breakfast and ate instant noodles there. It's like they were at home. You can get hot and cold water from the machine in the common room. The host is always there. He is informative but a bit cold. Seldom see him smile and is not very welcoming.

Very conveniently located near Myeong Dong station exit 3 (with escalators). Although it is an uphill climb, the location and nearby facilities such as konbini, small cafes and Isaacs Toast are worth it. The host is also very friendly and helpful - he allowed us to park our luggages after check-out and helped us book an airport transfer as well

Great place for staying. Close to subway. Lots of LEGO collections at the lobby.

The location is close to Myeong Dong station. The owner can speak English very well so it's easy to ask anything. The room was big enough for 4 people to lay around. The room and facilities was new.

We have to exchange our use towel at the desk and pick up ourself, so they a chance that other people can steal our towel and we can not get a spare when the staff is off.

Location is excellent, the property is incredibly safe and the access to a kitchen, laundry and appliances is wonderful.

Wished the room was a bit bigger and comfier. Nowhere to sit unless you sit on the bed.

Location was definitely a big plus for us. Walking distance to myeongdong night market, Namsan tower and the subway. Lots of eateries around the guesthouse too. There is a 7-11 just 50 steps from the guesthouse too.

I think the guy at the reception can be a little more friendly and smiley. Thats just me. Cause I think it will definitely make a lot difference especially when checking in, to some he can be considered a little fierce.
