Ace Hotel Toronto

The location was good and the breakfast options were very good. As was the service at breakfast. Front desk was friendly and efficient. I liked the energy/vibe, from quiet morning time to a very social meeting spot in the evening/night. The music was good!

The service overall was poor. Out of our 4 night stay our room was cleaned twice, once properly, although even that time used drinking glasses were left in the room. There was hair in the sink when we checked in. Dinner at Alder was overpriced for the quality of food and staff seemed overwhelmed when it got busy. It was difficult to catch the eye of a server in order to pay our bill. Bar service was poor/undertrained in the evening. I’ve stayed at the Ace in Toronto and New York in the past but I am unlikely to book Toronto in the future.
