If you go to Banff, this hotel is a must see. The food and staff were incredible. It is both relaxing and romantic, and family friendly. The views from the room are beautiful. It is spendy, but worth it for the experience. We cannot wait to go back and bring the kids!

Beautiful hotel! Great location in Banff. Hotel had a stunning view and nice, classy rooms. Good restaurant on site. Recommend the Afternoon Tea at Rundle Bar!

We honeymooned here is 2001 and then took our two boys in Dec.2022/Jan.2023 to see how awesome this place is and to ski in the area. We were there right after the Christmas holiday so the hotel was still decorated. The hotel is beautiful when not decorated for the holidays but being there over this time added a new level of magic. The hotel staff in all areas of the resort are top notch!!!! (food, valet, tour guides, waiters, bar staff - all of them) We booked one of the igloo private meals, went ice skating, night sky gazing, spa treament- all perfectly awesome. I can not say one bad thing and should be a bucket list location for everyone to experience. *oh and the town of Banff is walkable or take a taxi - even in the winter things to do. We have never been there in the summer but heard it is a lot more crowded then in the winter.
