The room was in a good location and quite spacious.
The wifi in the room didnt work and the hotel in a maze to get into the room.
The location is perfect. Everything is so close & you get an amazing view on the terrace. The staff was excellent, welcoming and very helpful. They were quick to help when we needed it and made us feel very welcome.
The towels were not very soft.
Quite big room and great location! Easy to walk to vatican or public transport! Friendly staff!
Location
We got the luxury suite. Have to take stairs to go to the room. Bathroom very tiny. Beds and sofa are on a platform. Very dangerous. No free water. No tissue. Very old building with very old and small elevator.
It was in a good location. The lobby was very nice. Unfortunately they did not put the same care into their rooms. It had a quirky old building lay out that was unique.
The rooms looked nothing like the pictures, they were tiny and the walls looked really really gross. I asked to upgrade the room, hoping it was only because we got the base room, and the hotel said it was not possible because they were fully booked. When we told booking.com we werent happy with the room they were extremely helpful and contacted the hotel for us. The receptionist at the hotel was upset with me that we contacted booking.com for some reason. She told us we were wrong, and was taking the complaint very personally, and she was very rude to us. She then was told to offer us a new room, she said we needed to hurry. Once we rushed to pack and went to the new room she told us it was no longer available. We told her we were going to leave a bad review and she said I dont care she also said it was not her fault, it was our fault. Weve never been treated that way by hotel staff before. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a new room and a free breakfast. The new room was better but still dirty on the walls and in the bathroom. The manager also did make excuses for the receptionist which made me feel like she didnt take seriously how rude the receptionist was. However, we did still feel that the manager and the rest of the staff was really nice. In all, we wish we didnt stay there.
